Have you ever noticed all the different colours of the earth and soil in our fields? On this short walk through Penedo Grande and the cork oak grove around São Bartolomeu de Messines you will have the opportunity to uncover some of the secrets of the ancient colours, discover some of the region's geographical features and its vegetation, and learn what coloured pigments these elements can be turned into. At the end, you can make artisanal paints and paint a small picture.
This interpretative route is suitable for adults and children aged 10 and over. Available on 14 April from 9.30 am to 1 pm. Meeting point: São Bartolomeu de Messines Church Square.
