Viewing of a large number of aquatic bird species, including the over 200 species that live in Ria Formosa permanently or temporarily. For instance, the Kentish plover (Charadrius alexandrinus), the purple gallinule (Porphyrio porphyrio), the avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) or the spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia).
Interpretation of the various and abundant heritage of the natural park in relation to mammals, amphibians and reptiles. As regards insects, this area is very diverse in species of butterflies, such as the Spanish festoon (Zerynthia rumina) or the two-tailed pasha (Charaxes jasius).
There is a wide diversity of dragonflies, such as the red-veined darter (Sympetrum fonscolombii) or the banded groundling (Brachythemis impartita).
